Focus and Scope

This journal is dedicated to provide open-access, high-quality, peer-reviewed eLearning publications. We encourage everybody to submit teaching and eLearning related articles. Blinded review of cases allows a fair and unbiased publication of Radiology case reports.

The "eLearning Journal" is a new kind of journals for eLearning. The peer review and editorial process conforms with other peer reviewed journals. Review process is blinded and exceptional by taking usually no more than 14 days - compared to months (and even years with revisions) in traditional journals, which can be very frustrating for authors.

As in traditional journals, the published cases are fully citable in this journal. Each article receives a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) - these days every modern journal assigns its articles a DOI for easier referencing. Medline/PubMed indexing of the articles is in process.

However, there is a significant difference compared to traditional journals. Not only the very fast peer-review process (mostly less than 2 weeks) is exceptional - traditional journals need up to several months or even years (after revisons) to publish the manuscripts. A second unique feature is the multimedial setup: The manuscript can be viewed as static pages  (e.g. for printing) or in a multimedial mode, where movies, sound, Flash animations and other multimedia is provided.

The articles will be available in multiple formats (Abstract, HTML, PDF, Multimedial)
